Writing:

* Script writing and script doctoring with pal Steve Coulter for 7 Course Theatre’s project with Siemans Business Services and Gumperson Creative Services. We’ve written eight business theatre skits and a series of Jon Stewart-style comedy newscasts for a big Siemans meeting in Miami in October. I also get to direct these pieces, starring Leslie Sharp, Rob Cleveland, Tiffany Morgan, David Silverman, and Jeff Portell.

* I’ve been tapped to write the script for the 2002 NASCAR Busch Awards, which will air on TNT in late November.

* Awaiting the green light to script a series of comedy vignettes for an AFLAC business meeting, produced by Aspen Productions, as well as a project they have cooking with S1 Corp.

* “Magic Carpet Ride”, a collaboration between 7 Course Theatre and Motivation Works, will feature scripting by David Silverman and myself for a performance in Orlando in January for Shaw Industries.

I count myself fortunate as a busy Summer rolled right into a busy rest-of-the-year, and I get to work on some exciting projects with some great people to round out 2002…

Acting:
* Improv Comedy Shows with The Accidental Comics in Connecticut, Dalton, Canada, and at Atlanta’s Fox Theatre
*My role as Mark Oliver’s best buddy Dave officially became ‘recurring’ as I performed in another installment of The Catalyst’s Group “Tweeter Television” for Hi-Fi Buys. If you walk into a Hi-Fi Buys or Tweeter Dealer, look for Mark and me all over the big screen televisions in this in-store promo movie.
* Emcee for the Atlanta Food And Wine Expo at The Cobb Galleria. Good people, great food, and cookin’ tunes from Gwen Hughes and The Jazz Kats.
* Guest Moderator/Panelist at the 2002 ActorExpo, sponsored by The Company Acting Studio and Actorsphere.com. I’ll be with a panel of terrific southeastern actors in “Actors On Acting”, “The Voice Over and Industrial Market”, and other seminars.
